Cycling lessons for adults
Have you never cycled before and would like to learn? Can you cycle a little and want to practice further?
That's possible at the cycling school in Scherpenheuvel-Zichem!
First you learn to ride a bike on a safe terrain. Then you start practising on the street. You don't do this alone, but under the guidance of experienced instructors.
Cycling lessons start in April. You can register from 20 March.
Results 2025
In Scherpenheuvel-Zichem, the health and equal opportunities department initiated the cycling lessons. For the first time, the municipality organised evening classes instead of classes during the day. And with success.
12 participants, including residents of Peeters Castle, took part in the cycling lessons. 3 Volunteers guided the participants to learn to cycle independently.

Price
€15 for the full Lesson Series of 15 lessons, with an UiTPAS you pay only €3. You pay before the start of the lessons.
Extra
- You can use a bicycle and helmet from the cycling school
- Bring a bottle of water, especially on hot days.
- Wear comfortable clothing (preferably trousers)
- We provide insurance in case of accidents
