Learning to ride a bike in Ostend
Have you never cycled before and would like to learn? Can you cycle a little and want to practise further?
That's possible at De Fietsschool - Cycling School Ostend!
You first learn to cycle on a safe terrain. Then you start practising on the street. You don't do this alone, but under the guidance of experienced instructors. There are no new cycling lessons planned yet, register on our waiting list.
Practical information
A Lesson Series consists of 15 2-hour lessons.
A lesson series costs €40. If you have an UiTPAS at chance rate, you pay €8. You can pay in cash at the start of the first lesson. Registration fees will only be refunded on presentation of a valid doctor's certificate and based on the number of lessons taken.
Location: Duin en Zee (Fortstraat 128 in Ostend)
We provide a bike and a helmet.
Cycling workshop for children (4-12 years)
Can't your child ride a bike yet? A cycling workshop for children (4-12 years) is also planned, focusing on how to find the pedals. The workshops will take place on Wednesday 23/04.
The cost is €5. If you have an UiTPAS at chance rate, you pay €1. You can pay cash at the start of the class.
The lesson takes place at OC 't Viooltje (Violierenlaan 3 in Ostend).
Does your child have its own bike? Then be sure to bring it along. We provide bicycles for children who do not have their own bike.
