Cycling lessons for KU Leuven students
Have you never cycled before and would like to learn? Can you cycle just a little, but not enough to ride on the street?
Then you can learn cycling at the cycling school in 10 lessons.
You take lessons in groups together with other novice cyclists.
Cycling classes are run by KU Leuven twice a year.
Lessons are taught in English.

Practical information
Location
Cycling lessons take place on Blauwputplein in Kessel-Lo.
You can get there easily on foot from Leuven station, or via the Heilig Hart Kerk bus stop on Diestesteenweg.
Price
You pay 20 euro for 10 lessons.
Extra
- You can use a bicycle and helmet from the cycling school.
- Bring a bottle of water, especially on hot days.
- Wear clothes (preferably trousers) and flat shoes.
- You are insured in case of accidents.
Cycling in Town - Welcome to Leuven!
Cycling in town is a bike tour of Leuven for international students who are just new to Leuven.
- You learn the do's & don'ts around cycling in town
- You get to know various cycling facilities
- You learn traffic rules for cyclists.
This activity is organised on the occasion of the Orientation Days for new international students. You can only participate with a ticket from the Orientation Days. This tour is for cyclists who feel uncertain to cycle in traffic. The course is 10 km long and hilly.
There is one tour in spring and two tours at the start of the academic year. How to participate you will learn via Orientation Days.
